A guy named Mo!

If you're into kid's books like I am, you may know about a pigeon who wants to do crazy things like...drive a bus, eat a hot dog, stay up late. Or you may know about Edwina, the dinosaur who doesn't know she's extinct. Or Gerard the Elephant and his best friend Piggie. Well now, you can meet Wilbur - a naked mole rat, who wants to get dressed. What's with all the crazy talk, you ask? Mo Willems!

Mo Willems, author and illustrator of many popular award winning kids' books, is on tour now to introduce his newest book, Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed. And I got to meet him! He was doing a book signing in the city, so I couldn't resist. I've been a follower of his blog - Mo Willems' Doodles and a proud owner of many of his books including, You Can Never Find a Rickshaw When It Monsoons: The World on One Cartoon a Day. It's Mo fresh out of college with a notepad, pen and ink, and one change of clothes. Check it out!

Nice-the man loves his booksignings!!! I met him and Trixie (his daughter's name is Trixie-nice huh?) at Comic Con last year-isn't he just swell?
I wanted to ask him about-but didn't have the nerve-Sheep in the City, late 90's Cartoon Network show he worked on. We loved that show!
