I want to be your Page 1

Face it. Vegetarians are nice people. Who wouldn't want a notebook where you can list all the vegetarians that you've met and liked??
Okay. Probably very few people. But this journal from The Notebook Corporation by Archie Grand made me laugh when I saw it. They have a notebook for everyone under the sun! From Artists I Met and Liked to Santa Clauses I Met and Liked.
If you did however purchase this notebook, I hope I would be your Page 1!

Wild Thing

Loved the book.
Have yet to see the movie. Must be Max for Halloween.

I could make this, but where does one get an adult sized sleeper?

Lefty Loops

There's a new knitter in town! She goes by the name "Lefty Loops" (aka Tara Connell) and her specialty is keeping your baby's head warm! Her knitted baby caps, which I have seen in person, are so stylishly adorable. She has a wide range of styles and will soon be posting them to her Etsy page (which I will post once updated - check back soon!). Order a hat for your little one this winter and you will have the cutest baby in town by far!

Here's a sneak preview (banner designed by me):

Talking Coffee

How cool would it be if your coffee reminded you how beautiful you were every morning!?
You simply take the transparent plastic stencil (that can be personalized at http://www.coffeestencil.com/), place it over your cup, and sprinkle cinnamon or cocoa over it and wah-lah! Don't worry, they include video instruction on the website, if you didn't get it. Mornings just got better.

My bag helps people...what does yours do?

I got a brand new bag from Barnes & Noble and I'm loving it!
It's stylish, comfy, sturdy, and it helps save lives.

FEED/READ 3 bag is a simple way to make the world a better place. Each 100% organic cotton tote bag includes a donation to provide 3 school meals AND 3 local language books to children in the developing world. FEED/READ 3 bag, sold exclusively at Barnes & Noble stores, was created by FEED Projects in support of the
UN World Food Program’s (WFP) School. Feeding operations and Room to Read, an organization dedicated to promoting and enabling global education.
Over 350 million children go to bed hungry every night and every 5 seconds a child dies because he or she is hungry. Hunger kills more people than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined. There are more than 770 million illiterate adults in the world, two-thirds of whom are women and girls. In addition, there are over 300 million children who do not attend school. But, there is hope. When children are given a free, nutritious school meal, attendance increases by 100% and performance improves greatly. Education is the best ticket out of poverty, so Room to Read has built over 750 schools and established 7,000 libraries with over 6 million books in just its first decade.
