I'm back! It's been so long since my last blog...but I've been busy and travelling! I spent some time in Washington, DC with my best friend and her family. We were just in time for the peak of the Cherry Blossom Festival. Look how beautiful it was:
I recommend you go and see it if you are in the area. I also recommend you head over to the National Zoo! I don't get to too many zoos these days, but this one was huge and well set up. My shot of the day was of the tiger, who popped his head out long enough to sneak a few shots.
I would have loved to take some time to sketch in both these parts, but we were on the go most of the time. I did however, find time to do headstands with all the National Monuments in DC. :) Here's a sampling:
